Fine rustic country house in the village Montorfano (350 m.) at the other side of Lake Mergozzo, near the best sand-beach. Fantastic veranda-terrace with pizza-oven and barbecue. Outside there's also a normal terrace and a second bathroom with washing machine. Ground-floor with kitchen and simple living room. First-floor: bathroom and two bedrooms, one with bed for 2 persons, the other with 2 single beds. Child bed available.

Important and famous Lago Maggiore, 4 km. from Lago di Mergozzo. Beside the rich history of this area, also a lot of new attractions and facilities have been created like the Summer Jazz-Festival in Verbania, Stresa and Arona.

10. Casa Suna & Spiaggia (2-4 persons):

The houses Casa Suna & Spiaggia (or beach) are situated at the lakeside boulevard, just in front of the swimming pool and Suna-Pallanza's public beach. Suna is a quarter with many restaurants, some of the best hotels, bars and shops. The south orientated beach faces the Borromee islands and Stresa. The road that passes Casa Spiaggia at its frontside is mostly closed during summer weekends, and trucks are not allowed to use that road. Photos above are from november 2006.

Casa Suna (2-4 persons), is situated at the landside of the building: kitchen and terrace (no lake-view), living room with bedroll with bed for 2 persons. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Bedroom with two single beds within bench. Its perfectly possible to eat outside on the terrace.

The two houses offer a perfect combination for 8 persons: because of the possibility to use Casa Spiaggia's backdoor.

Casa Spiaggia (4-5 persons), at the lakeside of the building with a small garden entrance, but with enough space to sit outside. Just across the boulevard there're swimming pool and public beach. Bedroom and hall with doors towards the garden. Kitchen and living room with TV. Bathroom with shower and bedroom with two beds. This second bedroom with backdoor gives entrance to the terrace that connects Casa Spiaggia with Casa Suna.

In the centre of Verbania, the most important city of the Italian part of Lake Magggiore. Beach and public swimming pool along the boulevard, about 500 m. from the apartment. Boats and Ferryboats. Every Saturday there's a Market just outside of the front door. Of course, especially at summer, concerts and other organized events in the centre give this location a particular holiday atmosphere. leaving the city, 10 minutes north by car you'll reach Ghiffa. Above this village, that is very much appreciated by tourists, history created small attractive quarters. 16. Villa San Pantaleo (10-12 persons):

 

Just like Villa Monferrato, this Out-of-Ossola Villa is offered for holidays by an Ossola-related Italian family. Sardinia can be reached for example by ferry-boat from Livorno within eight hours. The villa with five bedrooms and five bathrooms is especially comfortable for groups/families up to 12 persons, because the common rooms like kitchen, living-room and garden are spacious and inviting.

 

 

Villa San Pantaleo is situated between the old and picturesque village of San Pantaleo and the sea. It is built on a hill where since the 80’s several houses have been built, scattered in the green of the Mediterranean vegetation. In a few minutes – only 2 km. away - you can reach Portisco and many beaches, among the most beautiful of the Smeralda coastline. The nice village of San Pantaleo, located below a stunning group of granite rocks, with its small stone houses and its beautiful square, is at 4 Km. from the house. The village offers shops, restaurants and hotels. Its weekly market on Fridays is one of the most famous and lively in Costa Smeralda.

 

 

The villa consists of three buildings on one floor. It is surrounded by a large garden of about 5.000 m²., with lawn, flowers and Mediterranean plants. From the living and the terrace you can enjoy a breath-taking view towards the sea and the islands of Soffi, Mortorio and Tavolara. In the second building, linked to the main one by a veranda, there are two other rooms (with two and four beds) and a bathroom. About 10 meters away from the two buildings, close to the entrance gate and the parking, there is a small stone house, with a two beds room and a bathroom. The furniture is simple and chosen with care. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer), utensils, cutlery and dinnerware for 12-14 people.
